1. Who uses the app
Content Publisher is a single-user tool. Its only user is its owner, who connects their own accounts. It does not collect data from the public, and it has no sign-up or user accounts of its own.
2. Data the app accesses
- TikTok: after the owner authorizes it via TikTok Login Kit, the app receives basic profile information (such as the display name and open ID) and permission to upload and publish content (the
user.info.basic,video.uploadandvideo.publishscopes). - Other platforms: equivalent publishing permissions for the owner's own Instagram and YouTube accounts.
3. How data is used and stored
Access tokens are stored only on the owner's own computer and are used only to publish the owner's content and to check that a post succeeded. The app does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties, does not use it for advertising, and does not run analytics or tracking.
4. Public media files
Images that are being published may be hosted temporarily on this website, because platform APIs fetch media from a public URL. These files contain only the content being published and no personal data.
5. Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept until the owner revokes access or deletes them. Access can be revoked at any time in TikTok under Settings and privacy > Security > Manage app permissions, and the equivalent settings on other platforms.
6. Contact
Questions can be sent through the project's GitHub page.
